Job Title: Nursery Assistant
Location: Castle Daycare – Guardian House, Godalming (GU7 1EY)
Pay: Up to £27,500 per year (Dependent on Experience & Qualification)
Hours: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) or Part-Time options available
About Castle Daycare
Located right by Godalming station, Guardian House is a modern, vibrant nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We focus on play-based learning, individual care, and giving our team a supportive, rewarding place to work.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Daily Care & Support: Assist with creative activities, outdoor play, mealtimes, rest times, and general nursery routines.
- EYFS Delivery: Work alongside Room Leaders to plan, deliver, and track fun, educational activities mapped to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Key Person Duties: Build strong relationships with children and keep clear, simple developmental updates for parents via our nursery app.
- Child Safety: Ensure high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and room cleanliness at all times.

- Strong communication skills and a strong team-player approach.
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to undergo one).
