Responsibilities

- Support students with disabilities or autism by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing targeted assistance.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to help students improve their academic skills and confidence.
- Help manage classroom behavior by encouraging positive interactions and implementing behavior management strategies.
- Support students during lessons, activities, and transitions to promote engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers to prepare educational materials and adapt resources for different learning styles.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure a cohesive support system.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated teaching, tutoring, or mentoring skills that foster student growth and confidence.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different student needs and classroom dynamics.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to student success.
