Assistant Chef / Pizza Chef Required
Lakeview Café & Kitchen – Barking Park
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Chef / Pizza Chef to join our growing team and work alongside our Head Chef in our brand-new café and kitchen.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience stretching and preparing authentic Neapolitan pizzas and enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.

Your Role
You will work closely with our Head Chef and help with the daily kitchen operation, including:
- Stretching and preparing authentic Neapolitan pizzas
- Assisting with pizza service during busy periods
- Food preparation for breakfast, brunch and lunch service
- Supporting the Head Chef with kitchen organisation
- Maintaining high food quality and presentation
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient
- Assisting with stock rotation and waste control
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a professional kitchen
- Experience stretching pizza dough is essential
- Passion for great food and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy service
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, hardworking and a good team player
- Good communication skills

- 40 indoor seats
- 30 outdoor seats
- Dine-in and takeaway service
Our busiest periods are weekends, bank holidays and school holidays when the nearby Splash Park attracts thousands of visitors.
Pay
£14–£16 per hour, depending on experience.
Working Hours
Full-time and part-time positions available.
Weekend and bank holiday availability is essential.
