Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Builder/Landscaper to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on a variety of construction and landscaping projects, contributing to the creation and maintenance of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for horticulture, gardening, and construction, with a strong focus on landscape maintenance and site development. Responsibilities
- Carry out landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Assist with construction activities related to outdoor projects, including groundwork, fencing, decking, and paving.
- Conduct routine maintenance of machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Support the installation of irrigation systems and other horticultural features as required.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping designs and construction plans.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or construction is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, or related fields such as gardening or horticulture studies is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools in outdoor settings.
- Experience in site maintenance or general construction work will be considered an asset.
