We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in managing daily activities and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive environment.
- Manage daily nursery operations, including planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide high-quality childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Drive initiatives that encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development while adhering to nursery policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the best outcomes for children.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to early childhood education.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
- Must hold a level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while fostering an inclusive environment.
- Previous leadership experience within a childcare setting would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Applicant subject to DBS check.
