We are looking for an experienced administrator who has worked within General Practice. This is a new and exciting role in addition to our current administration team.
The hourly rate will be dependent on NHS administration experience.

Core responsibilities
- Accurately clinically code data into the patient record on the clinical system
- Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action
- Inputting and extracting data as required to support practice reports
- Scanning patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients’ healthcare records
- File and store records as required
- Subject Access Reports
- Summarising of New Patient Records
- Action all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner
- Input data into patients’ healthcare records as necessary
- Conduct system searches as requested
- Process EMIS Workflow Manager
- Undertake a broad spectrum of administrative duties commensurate with the role
- Be an integral part of the general practice team
- Support in the delivery of enhanced services and other service requirements
- Undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes
- Contribute to and embrace the spectrum of clinical & Information Governance & Patient Safety including Safeguarding of Children & Adults
- Support of Secretarial Duties
Essential
- Experience of Working in General Practice
- Experience of Administration Duties in General Practice
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Competent in use of MS Office & Outlook as well as EMIS or Vision
- Problem Solver
- Ability to use own initiative
- Good Organisational Skills
- Flexible
- Punctual & Committed to supporting and working within the team
