Neuadd Drymmau Care Home Ltd is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team!
Position Summary:
The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting with the daily activities in the kitchen. This includes closing the kitchen, prepping food, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining inventory. The Kitchen Assistant will work to ensure that all dishes are prepared to Neuadd Drymmau Care Home standards and are carried out in a timely manner.
The shifts are through out the week including some weekends, primarily afternoon shifts are required covering.
The morning shifts start at 8am and finish at 2pm and the afternoon at 2pm and finish at 7pm, we can be somewhat flexible with start and finish times.
We are looking for someone that enjoys the company of people and wishes to help brighten the day of the people living here by enabling nicely prepared meals.
we wish to maintain of 5 rating with environmental health so require somebody who will be able to help us achieve. Food hygiene is paramount.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to 5 hours, bend, reach, push, pull, walk and squat.
- Previous work experience in a kitchen and the ability to learn and practice all duties under the direction of the Chef.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
