The Associate Director – Clinical Trial Management Business Partnering & Category Strategy is an experienced procurement professional responsible for category management and sourcing activities supporting clinical trial management across Phases 1–4. The role partners with Clinical Development and other stakeholders to translate study needs, outsourcing requirements, market intelligence, and supplier capabilities into practical sourcing and supplier strategies that support cost, quality, speed, flexibility, and business objectives.
Reporting to the Director – Clinical Development Business Partnering & Category Strategy, this role is responsible for assigned Clinical Trial Management categories, with primary focus on Full-Service Outsourcing (FSO), Functional Service Provider (FSP), and related clinical operations services. The Associate Director develops category plans, leads sourcing initiatives, supports supplier performance, and provides market and commercial insights within the defined category scope.
The successful candidate combines clinical outsourcing knowledge, commercial judgment, analytical capability, and strong stakeholder partnership with a hands-on approach to execution.
This role is hybrid 2-3 days in our West Chester, PA site.
