Optimum Patient Care UK are looking for a pro-active Project Coordinator to support in the delivery of clinical trials and research related projects.
We are part of a network of global organisations working to improve the lives of patients with chronic diseases (www.optimumpatientcare.org).
The role is offered on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days at home or office) based in central Norwich. OPC offers a welcoming and inclusive working environment in our dog friendly office, with regular social and community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities in line with the project plans
· Review and complete project reports and documentation, ensuring project records are up to date and accurate
· Provide regular project updates to the management team and external stakeholders
· Assist in in the preparation and coordination of events and conferences, including communications, tracking attendance and distributing post-conference materials.
· Assist in leading project meetings, produce timely meeting minutes and action updates.
· Work closely with key stakeholders and research partners ensuring professional and timely communication through verbal and written contact
· Facilitate clinics in GP practices throughout the UK, attending clinics in person as required
Qualifications
· A level qualifications or equivalent
Experience and Skills
Essential
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to work under pressure.
· High attention to detail, and ability to work on own initiative.
· The ability to work proactively with others
· Computer literate, comfortable using Office 365 suite and other project management software
· Ability to travel to GP practices as required (several times per month).
Desirable
· Experience within the healthcare and/or research sector.
