We are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality early years education and helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Position: EYFS Teacher
Location: Wrightington
Start Date: September 2026 – Long term
Class: Reception
Hours: Wednesday – Friday (08.30am – 16.00pm)
Pay: Starting from £154.66
Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized learning programmes for students with cognitive and learning difficulties.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to engage and support diverse learning needs.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to implement effective Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Monitor student progress, set achievable targets, and provide detailed feedback to parents and carers.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to ensure accessibility for all students.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to support staff working within the SEND department.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- In depth knowledge of the curriculum
- Teaching experience across all key stages
- Flexibility, adaptability and confidence
- Strong classroom management skills
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
- Provide a full work history and references to cover a minimum of 5 years
