Join Our Team - Due to the upcoming peak season, we are looking to expand our Production Department team.
As a Packing Operator, you'll be an essential part of our production process. Your main responsibilities may include:
- Starting up, controlling, adjusting machines on automatic production lines (e.g., Robot Palletising Machine).
- Hand-packing and lifting potato sacks may be required, from 2kg up to the heaviest weight of 25kg.
- Conducting visual quality inspections to ensure potatoes meet company standards.
- Assisting in sorting and grading potatoes, ensuring only high-quality produce is packed.
- Accurately documenting quality inspection results on production paperwork.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth production flow.

Location: B+F Potatoes Ltd. Glebe Farm ,Butterwick, Weaverthorpe, Malton YO17 8HF
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
- Standard hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30–17:00; Friday, 07:30–15:00 (early finish).
Starting Salary: £12.74 per hour.
Overtime: £19.11 per hour.
Experience: Previous experience in a factory or warehouse is desirable but not essential as we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
