Job Summary
Since we first opened our doors in 2014, our focus has been music, craft beer, table tennis, retro arcade games and good quality pop up food kitchens in a comfortable industrial space.
We’re looking for a friendly, positive, team focused Bar Supervisor with experience of working in a busy hospitality environment. Your main focus will be working along side the managers to help lead and inspire the team while making sure the atmosphere and service is the best it can be.
As an independent business we want all the people working for us to feel valued and happy in their working environment, we want supervisors who can help facilitate this and have personal input how to make the Kong’s better.
While food plays an important part of the business it is operated separately.
Shifts - Friday and Saturday nights only
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including serving and cleaning routines
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Train new team members on service standards and operational protocols
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with opening or closing duties as required
Requirements
- A hands on supervisor who will work on the bar and help the team
- Ability to keep standards high
- Experience of working in a late night venue
- Experience of training staff
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills to lead a diverse team and interact confidently with customers
- A love of craft beer is a bonus!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.35 per hour
