The Role
We're looking for a growth-obsessed Organic Search Manager to drive search performance and AI-led search visibility across our client portfolio. You'll contribute to the development of client strategy and own execution across technical, content, GEO, and the emerging surfaces of AI search — AIOs, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and beyond.
This is a hands-on role for someone who's mid-to-expert level across the core disciplines of organic search. We want someone who's keenly focused and excited about where the channel is heading as traditional SEO alone is no longer enough to secure sustainable and impactful brand growth over time.

What You'll Be Doing
Client Strategy & Account Growth
- Contribute to organic strategy and own execution across a portfolio of client accounts
- Spot and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts, including scope expansion into content, digital PR, and AI search
- Turn technical recommendations into commercial outcomes clients actually care about
- Build client relationships on expertise and results, not just reporting
Search Strategy & Execution
- Deliver across technical SEO, content, digital PR, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Apply a sharp, practical understanding of E-E-A-T to build visibility and credibility that AI systems trust as much as search engines do
- Track AI search behaviour: AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, turning observations into real recommendations
- Understand how CRO and UX decisions shape organic performance, and speak confidently on where the two meet
- Keep a genuine pulse on algorithm updates and AI search developments; this channel moves fast, and so should you
Cross-Collaboration
- Partner with Paid Media, Content, Brand, and Influencer teams to build joined-up strategy, not siloed SEO recommendations
- Share knowledge across the Organic Performance team and help raise the bar
- Support new business and strategy projects with organic input where needed
Reporting & Insight
- Report on results that map to client goals, not vanity metrics
- Use Ahrefs, GSC, and GA4 to surface opportunities before clients have to ask
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Mid-to-expert knowledge across technical SEO, content, on-page, and off-page/digital PR
- A track record of growing organic performance for client or in-house accounts
- A confident communicator who can make complex strategy land with clients and stakeholders
- A sharp, practical understanding of E-E-A-T
- A natural collaborator, comfortable working across channels rather than inside an SEO silo
- Curiosity and drive - the appetite to learn fast in a channel that never stands still
- Exposure to GEO, AI Overviews, or LLM-driven discovery (llms.txt, entity graphs, schema markup, AI citation surfaces)
- Working knowledge/understanding of CRO or UX and how it connects to organic performance
- Experience across DTC, retail, hospitality, or premium/lifestyle brands
Tools & Ways of Working
- ClickUp for project management and task ownership
- Google Drive for structured documentation and collaboration
- Slack for internal communication
- Ahrefs, GSC, and GA4 for performance data and insight
- AI tools (Claude, Windsor AI) to sharpen output and efficiency
Success Metrics
- Organic performance gains tied to real commercial impact for clients
- Client retention and account growth
- Genuine cross-team collaboration on multi-channel strategy
- Adoption of AI-led search approaches across the portfolio
Compensation & Progression
- Starting salary: £35,000-£45,000
- Bonus scheme eligibility post-probation, linked to client growth, performance outcomes, and overall company performance
- Flexitime — flexible start (8–10am) and finish (4–6pm)
