We are a small primary School with 311 pupils and we are part of the Schoolsworks Academy Trust. We work in partnership with our Trust schools as well as our locality group of schools. Since joining Schoolsworks Academy Trust in 2018, Downsbrook has transformed in every aspect and we are delighted to have been rated as a ‘Good’ school in our March 2022 Ofsted.

Hours: Term Time Only (38 weeks per year) 27.5 hours per week over 5 days, plus 2.5 hours Midday Meals cover
Salary: TA - NJC Grade 3, SCP 3 – 4, £24,796 - £25,185 p.a. pro rata.
MDM - NJC Grade 3, SCP 3, £24,796 p.a. pro rata. Actual starting salary - £16,934 p.a.

What You Need to Succeed
Your role requires flexibility in your approach and understanding of the children and requires you to work closely with the class teacher to support the children, including those with additional and/or special educational needs. You will also be expected to undertake Midday Meals duties each day.
