Locum Surgical Registrar (ST3-ST8)

We are currently recruiting for a Locum Surgical Registrar (ST3-ST8) to join a busy and supportive NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced surgical doctors seeking an immediate start within a well-established multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care across surgical wards, theatres, outpatient clinics, and emergency admissions.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage surgical patients under the supervision of Consultant Surgeons where appropriate.
- Participate in ward rounds, patient reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Perform surgical procedures and assist in theatre according to competency and experience.
- Contribute to the management of acute and elective surgical patients.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with NHS policies and clinical governance standards.
- Support junior medical staff and contribute to teaching and training activities.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum grade equivalent to ST3-ST8 Surgical Registrar.
- Previous NHS experience is essential.
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- Availability to start ASAP.
- Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance documents.

Pay: £54.00-£65.00 per hour
