- Wednesday: 9.00am – 2.00pm

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Female Support Worker to join our friendly team at Amy's Place.
This is an opportunity to support Amy, a fun-loving 43-year-old woman with Angelman Syndrome, to live a happy, active and fulfilling life. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in helping Amy enjoy the things she loves while promoting her independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

About the Role
As part of our small, supportive team, you'll help Amy with all aspects of daily life, including:
- Supporting personal care and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Supporting communication and emotional wellbeing
- Accompanying Amy to activities, appointments and days out
- Helping her enjoy hobbies, community activities and new experiences
- Driving Amy's adapted vehicle to outings and appointments
- Working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality, person-centred support
No two shifts are ever the same. One day you may be supporting Amy at home, and the next you could be out swimming, shopping, enjoying a walk in the New Forest or visiting one of her favourite places.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

- Flexible and willing to learn
- A holder of a full UK driving licence
Previous experience in care, support work, education, childcare, hospitality or customer service is welcomed, but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support, so we're equally keen to hear from people who are new to care and looking for a rewarding career.
