Job Description
We are looking for a part time reliable and experienced HGV Driver 1 with Tipper and Curtain sider experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting aggregates from our location to another in a 20t tipper or 26ft curtain sider with forklift. The ideal candidate will have a Class 1 Driver's Licence, a valid CPC card, excellent driving skills, and a strong commitment to customer service. The driver musts also be able to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintain a clean driving record, and ensure that the vehicle is kept in good condition at all times. This role is Monday-Friday daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and responsibly
- Maintain a valid drivers licence.
- Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.
Pay: £17.00 per hour
