Duties:
- Service & maintenance of fire & security systems in accordance with applicable codes
and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate completion of projects
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire & or security systems
- Call outs to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire & security systems, Out of hours call out rota.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of fire & or security systems
- Some proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to fire & security systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
Note: Previous experience as a Fire or Security Engineer or in a similar role is preferred. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude.
