Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Pet Services staff to provide exceptional care and support for our clients' beloved animals. This role involves ensuring pets are well-cared for, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away or busy. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a caring environment. Duties
- Provide feeding, watering, and administering medication to pets as per client instructions
- Offer daily exercise, playtime, and companionship to animals in your care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including cleaning cages, bedding, and feeding areas
- Monitor pet behaviour and health, reporting any concerns to clients or supervisors promptly
- Assist with grooming tasks such as brushing fur or bathing pets when required
- Follow specific care routines tailored to each pet’s needs and preferences
- Communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their pets’ wellbeing and any notable observations
- Ensure all pet-related equipment is maintained and stored properly
Requirements
- A genuine love for animals and previous experience with pet care is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in following care instructions
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a caring attitude
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, or holidays as required by scheduling needs
- Basic knowledge of animal health and safety regulations is desirable but training will be provided
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality pet care services
