We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Guitar Teacher to join our vibrant music community in West Dulwich, London. Duties
- Deliver engaging and tailored guitar lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Develop personalised lesson plans that align with each student's goals and progress.
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to excel and enjoy their musical journey.
- Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Prepare students for performances, exams, or recitals as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe and organised learning environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cared for.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development and upcoming lessons.
- Teach lessons both at our studio and at students' homes as needed (online lessons also available).
Requirements
- Experience teaching guitar to students of different ages and abilities preferred, though enthusiastic newer teachers are welcome to apply.
- Strong proficiency in guitar performance and music theory fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual needs.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS certificate required (can be obtained before starting if you don't already have one).
- Knowledge of current exam boards or performance standards is a plus.
- A friendly, energetic attitude with a passion for music education.
