MAAREE is a Founder-led women's sports bra brand, built on the belief that women deserve gear that actually performs, whatever their size. We're a small, fast-moving team obsessed with getting the fit, the fabric, and the support right, and we're growing our direct-to-consumer business at pace.
THE ROLE
This is a first proper marketing role for someone who wants to learn CRM properly, from the ground up.
You'll be the hands-on doer across MAAREE's owned and partner channels: email, SMS, a brand new loyalty programme, and our affiliate work with press and influencers. That means building the campaigns, designing them so they look right, getting them live, and reporting back on what happened. Our COO owns the strategy and will train and mentor you directly, so you'll be learning from someone who knows this business inside out.
We don't need you to have done this before. We need someone with a good creative and design eye, real curiosity about how a brand grows, and the appetite to get stuck in. Do it well, and you'll grow into owning these channels as MAAREE scales.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGEmail and SMS marketing
- Build and send email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo: audiences, layout, copy, links, testing and scheduling
- Design on-brand email templates and layouts, sourcing and cropping product, athlete and lifestyle imagery
- Help build and look after our lifecycle flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back)
- Proof and check everything before it goes out: links, spelling, mobile view, personalisation
- Keep the calendar up to date so the wider team knows what's landing and when
Loyalty programme (brand new, you'll help build it)
- Help research and choose the right loyalty platform, then get it set up alongside the COO
- Work out how the programme looks and feels on site and in email, and design the assets that sell it
- Get members signed up and keep them coming back, through email, SMS and on-site prompts
- Track sign-ups, redemptions and repeat purchase, and help us work out what to change
Affiliate PR
- Support our affiliate work with press and editorial commerce sites, the product round-ups and "best sports bra" features
- Keep product feeds, links, imagery and copy accurate so partners always have what they need
- Spot new publishers worth approaching, and help pitch them
- Track which placements actually drive sales, and flag the ones worth doubling down on
Affiliate influencer
- Help find and recruit creators to work with us on a commission basis
- Run the day to day: onboarding, codes and links, briefs, product sends and the chasing that comes with it
- Pull together the assets and guidelines creators need to get MAAREE right
- Keep a clear picture of who's performing, and share it back with the team
Reporting
- Pull weekly numbers from Klaviyo, Shopify, GA4 and our affiliate platform into one simple report
- Flag what worked and what didn't, and suggest what we should test next
- Track subscriber growth, loyalty sign-ups and partner performance in one place
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREssential
- A good creative and design eye. You notice when something looks off, and you care enough to fix it
- Strong written English and real attention to detail (typos genuinely bother you)
- Organised, and able to keep on top of your own to-do list without being chased
- Curious about how brands grow, and keen to understand the commercial side of the business
- Comfortable with numbers, even if you've never built a report in your life
- Comfortable dealing with people outside the business. You will be emailing publishers and creators a lot, so a friendly, professional tone matters
- Happy to ask questions, take feedback, and muck in on a small team
Nice to have, but not required
- Any hands-on time with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Canva, Figma, Shopify or GA4
- A placement year, internship or personal project involving email, social or design
- Any exposure to loyalty, affiliate or influencer platforms (LoyaltyLion, Yotpo, Awin, Sovrn, Shopify Collabs)
- An interest in sport, fitness, fashion or direct-to-consumer brands
What we're not asking for: years of CRM experience. This is a first role, and we will teach you. If you've got the eye and the appetite, apply.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Direct training and mentoring from our COO. Real CRM skills, properly taught
- Potential to move into a permanent role at the end of the contract
- A brand new loyalty programme and a brand new affiliate channel to help build. Very few first roles offer that
- Real responsibility from week one. Your work goes live to real customers, there are no coffee runs here
- The chance to grow with a purpose-led brand making a genuine impact
- 50% off staff discount
- Pension scheme
