We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of delicious food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Assist customers by taking orders, providing recommendations, and upselling additional products to enhance their experience.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all health regulations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support overall store operations.
Prepare and present deli products with care and attention to detail.
Engage warmly with customers, telling the stories behind our products,
Cut, slice and prepare our products for the customers.
Support the team in maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
Ensure cleanliness and food safety at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about craftsmanship and authentic food culture.
Curious, friendly, and eager to learn — experience in delis or hospitality is welcome but not essential.
