Excellent opportunity for a Dental Hygienist/Dental Therapist to join our all Private/Denplan practice based in Chepstow. We have an established patient list that requires ongoing preventative care through regular exams and hygiene attendance. Our Dental hygienist's provide treatment within their full scope of practice as part of the valued skill mix working at the practice, within their own autonomy and also in line with the shared standards at the practice whilst providing an excellent patient journey. We also utilise dental hygienist's to provide consistent and regular care to our patients - to establish good dental relationships and oral health education. If you are a dental therapist you will work alongside our other dental therapists splitting the hygiene requirements of our patients particularly our deplan list and working within their full scope to provide care to all of our patients.

We are a friendly team and an established family run independent dental practice with convenient transport links as we sit just off of the M48 in Chepstow. We offer 6 well equipped surgeries purpose built over 2 floors. The dental practice is a large modern environment and we very much support skill mix utilising extended duties trained nurses, dental therapists and hygienists to support clinical care. We are fully computerised and currently use dentally software, fully digital x-rays in each surgery, CBCT, 2 x itero scanners, Romexis scanner that can be utilised for chair side crown manufacture, operating microscope and onsite lab facilities. We offer a full range of treatments including restorative cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic orthodontics and Implants. We also have an endodontic specialist offering referrals in practice.

The Role

Days
We are ideally looking for a Dental Hygienist/Dental Therapist to cover a Monday and Thursday to complement other clinical team members. Days maybe negotiable and we may be able to accommodate work on other days if interested. Can be discussed at interview. Opening hours are 9am - 6pm Monday and Wednesday, 9am - 5pm Tuesday and Thursday and 8am - 3pm on a Friday.
Job type: Permanent part time. Looking at an employed contract but open to discussion regarding self-employed.
Pay: From £30 per hour employed - negotiable dependent on experience or applying as a dental hygienist/therapist - full terms can be discussed at interview if prefer self employed.
