Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Part Time Hygiene Operative to join our team here at Sauce Shop on our busy site in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. This role is suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, can be a little flexible on start/finish times to suit commitments but Monday to Friday preferred.
Duties
- Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness across all offices, washrooms, kitchens, welfare areas and shared spaces on site
- Ensure all toilets, kitchens, breakout areas and meeting rooms are cleaned, sanitised, stocked and presentable on every shift
- Replenish kitchen shelves, cupboards and fridges with tea, coffee, milk and other consumables to agreed stock levels
- Manage stock levels of cleaning chemicals, washroom consumables and kitchen consumables, raising orders with approved suppliers in line with budget
- Ensure all chemicals are stored, labelled, decanted and used safely and in line with COSHH, BRC and manufacturer instructions
- Maintain accurate cleaning schedules, sign-off sheets, chemical inventory logs and COSHH/SDS records to support BRC audit evidence
- Report any maintenance, hygiene, food safety or H&S issues to the Operations team promptly and accurately
- Support periodic deep-clean activities and BRC audit preparation as required
- Support Sauce Shop events from time to time i.e Customer visits, staff celebration days etc.
Skills
- Experience in cleaning both domestic and industrial areas
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills to enter orders etc
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
