Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate contractual agreements across our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and clients. Duties
- Draft, review, and negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure favourable terms and compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and renewal processes.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to align contractual obligations with operational needs.
- Utilise ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to track contract performance, manage data accuracy, and generate reports for management review.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to optimise contract terms and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documents in accordance with organisational policies.
- Provide guidance on contractual risks and mitigation strategies to relevant departments.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, legal standards, and industry regulations throughout all contractual activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in contract management within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS is essential; familiarity with other ERP platforms is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain processes, and procurement procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset capable of assessing risk factors and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—in order to liaise effectively across departments and external partners.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, supply chain management or law are desirable but not essential.
