Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team at Wennington Hall.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic exclusive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting the overall operation of the establishment.
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and a passion for customer service are essential.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly and managing reservations efficiently
- Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages promptly
- Providing excellent guest service by addressing enquiries and resolving issues courteously
- Assisting with food safety and hygiene standards in line with regulatory requirements
- Supporting food preparation and ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Managing cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
- Good organisational skills with effective time management during high-pressure situations
- Experience with guest services and upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
