About the Role
We're looking for an organised and proactive Assistant Event Manager to support the planning and delivery of events at Amalfi White. Reporting to the Sales & Venue Manager, you'll help ensure every event runs smoothly, from initial enquiry through to the final send-off, delivering a memorable experience for every client and guest.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Sales & Venue Manager with planning, coordinating, and delivering private and corporate events. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, respond to enquiries, and help build proposals and quotes. Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams to ensure events are properly staffed and resourced. Oversee event set-up and breakdown, making sure spaces are presented to a high standard. Be on-site during events to manage timings, troubleshoot issues, and act as a point of contact for clients. Help manage supplier and vendor relationships, including bookings for equipment, entertainment, or decor. Maintain accurate event records, bookings calendars, and client communications. Support with post-event follow-up, including client feedback and invoicing.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an event coordination or hospitality supervisory role. Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail. Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and suppliers. Able to stay calm and solve problems under pressure, especially during live events. Evening and weekend availability required. A team player who's happy to get hands-on when needed. Right to work in the UK is required for this role.
What We Offer
£13.50 per hour. Minimum 16 hours per week. A supportive team environment with room to grow.
