Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head House Keeper (job share) to lead our housekeeping team with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Oversee cleaning schedules, room preparations, and maintenance routines to maintain a spotless environment when job share is away
- Conduct the cleaning audit to ensure standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations when job share is on holiday
- Collaborate with other departments to address residents requests promptly and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff performance
- Contribute to the care homes meetings when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to uphold cleanliness standards consistently
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices within care setting settings
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with staff and residents alike
- Prior experience in care homes or hospitality management is highly desirable

Pay: £12.90-£13.00 per hour
