Job Summary
We are seeking 2 reliable Part-time Cleaners to join our team, working across various shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within commercial and public spaces. This role offers flexibility with shifts and provides an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant must be organised, diligent, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial premises, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain hygiene standards in restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- utilise cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable according to company standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends if required
