We’re looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Service Improvement Officer to join our Corporate Assurance team, playing a key role in driving continuous improvement across the Service.
About the role
You’ll work at the heart of improvement activity coordinating projects, strengthening governance, and supporting quality assurance and audit processes. You’ll collaborate with managers providing insight and practical support to help deliver real, measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting delivery of service improvement, projects, internal audits, fire standards and HMICFRS inspections
- Supporting information governance, including FOI/EIR and data processes
- Contributing to performance, risk, and business planning frameworks
About you
You’ll be proactive, organised, and confident working across teams and working with senior managers to influence and improve how things are done.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in delivering evidence-based improvements
- Strong analytical, communication, and partnership-working skills
- Knowledge of project management, risk, and quality assurance approaches
- The ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines,
- A passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to the Service’s values and ethics are essential.
