We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic cook to join our team at Planet Kidz Redcar.
You will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of food and helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen.
Main Duties
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard.
- Preparing meals, snacks and children's food.
- Taking and preparing customer food orders.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Ensuring food is stored and handled correctly.
- Checking stock levels and helping with stock rotation.
- Working as part of a friendly team.
- Assisting with general duties within the centre when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cooking/kitchen experience preferred but not essential.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy environment.
- Friendly and approachable.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be available to work weekends, term time and school holidays.
- Flexible availability is preferred.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
