Background: CSG is an established Managed Service Provider of IT and Communication technology services to businesses. We supply, install and proactively support market-leading software, telephony and IT systems for organisations throughout Wales, South West England and the Midlands.
We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Sales & Marketing Administrative Exec to support our sales team and manage the day-to-day marketing activity of the business. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines sales administration, team support and general marketing delivery — ideal for someone who enjoys variation, keeps things moving behind the scenes, and takes pride in getting the details right.
The successful candidate will be the operational engine that keeps sales running smoothly while ensuring our brand and marketing presence stays active and consistent.
Key responsibilities
Sales administration
- Prepare quotes, proposals, order confirmations and order processing according to defined processes
- Process sales orders accurately and follow them through to conclusion of process
- Maintain and update the CRM, keeping customer records, pipeline and activity logs current and accurate.
- Handle sales-related correspondence and act as a point of contact for customer queries.
- Coordinate the flow of information between sales, operations and finance.
Sales team support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team, freeing them to focus on selling solutions.
- Schedule meetings, calls and appointments; prepare agendas, materials and follow-up notes.
- Assist with the preparation of pitches, presentations and tender responses.
- Track leads and enquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and hand-off to the right salesperson.
- Support onboarding of new customers and maintain strong post-sale communication.
Marketing
- Manage general day-to-day marketing activity across digital and offline channels.
- Create, schedule and post content for social media, email campaigns and the website.
- Coordinate the production of marketing collateral (brochures, case studies, presentations, mailers).
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials and communications.
- Support events and campaigns from planning through to delivery.
- Liaise with third parties and vendors to support marketing admin duties
- Monitor basic marketing metrics and report on campaign performance.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a sales support, marketing, administrative or support role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities to deadline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office / equivalent (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Copilot).
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to support wherever needed.
Desirable
- Experience with marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media management and basic content creation.
- Experience in the technology sector
- Understanding of the sales cycle and lead management.
