Waterjet Setter & Operator to join our growing team, producing world-class components for some of the most demanding industries in the world; including

The Role
As a Micro-precision Waterjet Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for setting, programming, operating and optimising our stae-of-the-art machine to produce hhigh-precision components to exceptionally tight tolerances.
You will work with a variety of materials including:

Titanium
-
Aluminium
-
Stainless Steel
-
Tool steels
-
Carbon fibre composites
-
Plastics
Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you will ensure quality, efficiency and precision remain at the highest level
.
Key Responsibilities-
Setting and operating Micro Abrasive Waterjet systems
-
Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and CAD data
-
Producing components to extremely tight tolerances and high-quality standards
-
Conducting first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
-
Selecting suitable cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses
-
Troubleshooting machining and process issues
-
Maintaining machine performance and supporting preventative maintenance activities
-
Working to Aerospace, Defence and Motorsport quality requirements
-
Driving continuous improvement in processes, productivity and quality
What we're looking for:
Essential
-
Previous experience operating precision CNC or waterjet cutting machinery
-
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
-
Experiance working to tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Quality focused approach with a commitment to delivering right-first time results
-
Abiity to work independently and as part of a highly skilled engineering team
Desirable
-
Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport or Formula One manufacturing experience
-
CAD/CAM programming knowledge
-
Inspection experience using precision measuring equipment
-
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience

Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm
Friday 8am - 1pm
