Jessies Cafe – Pitlochry
Jessies Cafe is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our busy and friendly team in Pitlochry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen and service areas clean and tidy
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Helping maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to cleanliness and organisation
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential

Job Types
Minimum 18 hours over 3 days. Additional FOH shifts may be available to the right candidate.
Schedule
- Day shifts
- Monday, Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Flexibility required during busy periods.
- Weekend only work available to those still in education.
Location
Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Pitlochry.
