About Us
We are a fast-growing international media channel focused on covering world events through citizen journalists around the globe.
We are seeking a talented TV News Anchor / Host to join our London studio and help lead our flagship daily news programme. This role will literally be the anchor and entryway through which stories are explored and discussed with our worldwide correspondents.
The Role
This is an on-camera position for a confident, engaging journalist and on-camera presenter who can help audiences understand the stories shaping the world. You will co-anchor a daily one-hour news programme, bringing breaking news, international reporting, interviews, and analysis to viewers.
While a dedicated newsroom team will support story development, research, and production, the right candidate will be comfortable working from a script as well as naturally leading discussions, engaging in conversations, and speaking extemporaneously.
The position is based in our Soho studio and requires a full-time commitment. Although much of our wider team operates remotely, anchors will work closely with the local producer and the editors, operations team, correspondents and coordinators across multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-anchor a daily one-hour live or recorded news programme.
- Present breaking news, international developments, and conduct interviews.
- Collaborate with producers, the editorial team, and correspondents.
- Review, edit, and adapt scripts to ensure authenticity, clarity, and a natural on-air voice.
- Prepare for interviews and participate in editorial discussions.
- Contribute ideas for coverage, formats, and audience engagement.
- Remain flexible and responsive as priorities evolve.
- Help shape the growth and evolution of a new global news operation.
QualificationsRequired
- Demonstrated on-camera experience as a host, anchor, reporter, correspondent, presenter, or similar role. YouTube and social media experience accepted.
- Strong knowledge of current affairs, international news, and global events.
- Ability to perform confidently under deadline pressure and breaking news conditions.
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to accuracy.
- Comfortable collaborating with remote teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Adaptable, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to grow with a developing media organization.
Preferred
- Professional journalism experience in broadcast, digital, or print news.
- Experience conducting interviews and moderating discussions.
- Experience writing or editing news scripts.
- Existing audience or social media following across platforms.
- Experience covering international news and current affairs.
We're looking for someone who can grow with the organization, embrace change, and help define the voice of an emerging global news brand.
