We are looking for a responsible and reliable, full-time, permanent welder/fabricator to work at our established Liverpool (L5) base. The successful candidate will, amongst other duties, be responsible for:
Measuring & cutting up steel, drilling, welding, grinding and cleaning off steel work and will be manufacturing a wide variety of bespoke gates, posts, railings and associated products.
It is necessary to work with accuracy; ensuring items are to the correct dimensions, square, level and fully and securely welded.
Whilst the successful candidate must be an experienced welder with relevant qualifications, they will also be required to use pillar drills, band saws, linishing belts and angle grinders, amongst others, so a knowledge of some or all of these will be a benefit to your application.
It is essential that candidates have a full driving license as it will occasionally be necessary to leave the premises to deliver or collect materials and possibly to work off site.
It would also be of benefit to hold a forklift license.
The successful candidate will be working in an busy, established steel manufacturing facility with other welder/fabricators so needs to be someone who works well in a team.
Pay: From £15.45 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
