Job Title: Freelance ASF Level 2 classroom delivery tutor - Principles of Warehouse & Storage
Location: Home-based Zero hours contract for classroom delivery of ASF contract.

WS Training is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Tutor with a background in warehouse operations to deliver and assess the Level 2 Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Standard. This is a flexible, home-based role with travel required to employer sites across the East of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching, Learning and Assessment
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality sessions in line with curriculum requirements
Learner Support and Engagement
- Provide individualised support to learners, including those with additional needs
- Monitor attendance, progress, and learner wellbeing
- Set clear targets and support learners to achieve their goals
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure delivery meets Adult Skills Fund (ASF) funding rules and requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records (e.g. ILPs, registers, assessments)
- Contribute to quality assurance processes, including observations and audits
- Support continuous improvement through self-assessment and standardisation
- ·Contribute to standardisation to share best practice
- Use feedback from internal quality assurance to make continual improvement to implementation
- Be aware of the Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework (EIF) – Quality of Education
- Maintain currency in Teaching through effective CPD and all training offered at WS Training
Other accountabilities
Employer and Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with employers where required to support work-based learning
- Contribute to curriculum development aligned to local labour market needs
- Represent the organisation professionally with external stakeholders
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse adult learners
- Embed English, maths, digital skills, and employability into delivery
- Use a variety of teaching methods to promote active learning and participation
- Assess learner progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Prepare learners for successful achievement of qualifications and progression opportunities
About You
- Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes, ideally in warehousing or logistics
- Strong understanding of the Level 2 Warehouse Operative Standard and EPA requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Relevant teaching or assessing qualifications - Assessor qualification and a Level 3 teaching qualification is desirable.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
