WANTED:
Service Technician
West End Garage continues to grow in size as a Kia Main Dealer and we are seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. MOT tester preferable, but not essential
Job Duties:
- Servicing, MOT testing, maintenance and repairing of all Kia Models
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
- Working week Mon-Fri with a 1 in 4 Saturday weekend rota
Experience: Prior motor trade experience required. Able to follow instructions and able to work in a team environment. Training will be given both on site and by Kia Academy training centre in Derby.
Working Hours : This is a full-time position although flexible on rota.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 07:00 - 18:00 (flexible on shift hour / days)
- Saturday, (1 in 4) 08:30 - 17:30
- Sunday, Closed
- Could be flexible on working week to have a day off in the week providing 5 days per rolling week and 6 days in every forth week is covered. (To be agreed with Aftersales manager)
Salary dependent on experience and certified qualifications:
· £30,000 Level 3 qualified Technician (with minimum 2 years qualified experience)
· £1,000 kia expert level one
· £1,000 kia expert level two
· £1,000 kia expert level three
· £1,000 kia expert level four
· £1,000 KIA Master technician – accreditation from Kia academy
· £1.50 per citNow paid monthly in arrears
· £4,000 Productivity and attendance bonus (£1,000 per qtr - paid monthly in arrears) 100% attendance in the qtr + 100% target achieved in each month of qtr.
· £2,000 MOT Tester certified
· Over-achievement productivity bonus of £20 per hour for every hour charged over 100% of target hours PCM. This is uncapped!
On target earning of £45,000 + (uncapped). Hardworking individual who is willing to do extra will be rewarded for their efforts!
