Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in commercial driving environments. You will be responsible for managing delivery schedules, handling goods with care, and providing exceptional customer service throughout your route. This is for DPD in Leicester. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver goods to multiple destinations within designated routes, maintaining punctuality.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to confirm delivery details or resolve issues.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including signatures and proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Driving experience desirable but not required as full training provided.
- Valid driver’s licence suitable.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £2,800.00-£3,500.00 per month
