About the Role
Aldon Performance are currently looking for a Classic Car Parts Advisor (part-time) to join the team at our site in Brierley Hill.
We require a detail orientated individual, with experience in managing relationships with customers and colleagues. The parts advisor will liaise with both customers and workshop technicians to deliver effective solutions and advice. This role is ideal for those with good communication and organisational skills. This fast-paced role is focused on teamwork and providing a quality service to our customers.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge to ensure customers receive the highest quality service and advice. Knowledge of classic cars would be an advantage, but not essential as all training will be provided for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
· Assist in house technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for workshop jobs, providing expert advice where necessary
· Handle customers enquires swiftly, courteously and efficiently
· Process orders efficiently via phone, email, or in person, ensuring timely fulfilment
· Manage stock levels and organise parts storage areas to optimise accessibility and safety
· Liaise with suppliers to ensure the availability of required parts
· Handle customer enquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent communication skills and phone etiquette, create job quotes
· Support maintenance activities by providing necessary parts and documentation
· Keep detailed records of transactions and inventory movements for audit purposes
· Ensure the parts storage area is kept orderly, tidy and safe to work in
· Always follow health & safety procedures
About you
· Interest in cars, particularly classic, performance and motorsport vehicles
· Experience in this role or similar would be highly advantageous, but not essential
· The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers
· You must have a basic understanding of mechanical repair and have an excellent eye for detail
· You will be able to work efficiently whilst giving technical advice to customers
· Have a strong ability to manage own workload
· Reliable and punctual
· Hold a clean, full UK driving license.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
