Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light food items with precision and care, adhering to food safety standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve with a positive attitude to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including tables, counters, and food prep stations.
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions efficiently, and provide correct change using basic math skills.
- Restock supplies regularly, monitor inventory levels, and assist in food preparation tasks as needed.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks with effective time management.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
