We are seeking experienced, compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential assistance, guidance and emotional support to a person over night in their own home with complex mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the clients' independence, wellbeing, and daily living activities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference within the community, working closely with the client to promote their choices and dignity.

Duties
- Offer personalised support tailored to the individual's needs, including assistance with routines, life skills, de-escalation and safety.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to foster confidence and independence.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided, progress notes, and any changes in client circumstances.
- Assist client with communication needs, ensuring they are heard and understood effectively.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality care delivery.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans efficiently.
- Leadership qualities to motivate and guide clients towards achieving their personal goals.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and follow detailed care plans accurately.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively while prioritising client needs.

Requirements
- Previous experience with Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health conditions preferable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to the needs of individual clients.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.

Pay: £13.30 per hour
