Conveyancing Completion / Post- Completion Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small conveyancing team.
The role will includepreparing conveyancing files for completion, undertaking pre- completion priority searches. Liaising with the client before exchange of contracts and preparation of contact exchange letters.
Further roles will include -
Assisting the fee earner on legal completion, including calling clients, estate agents and other firms.
Preparation of completion day letters.
Stamp Duty Land Transaction Returns.
Dealing with land registration formalities and requisition requests.
Be responsible to monitor the priority search expiry dates and land registry applications using the case management digital dashboard.
Responsible to update the LMS and Lender Exchange portals and liaise with lenders on completion of registration.
You will also be involved with our file-closing and archiving procedure.
Applicants should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience of using a case management system would be preferable.
For the right applicant looking at progressing in conveyancing there is a clear opportunity to progress to a full conveyancing assistant role or further onto fee earning with experience and with training given over time.
This is a full-time role and salary will be dependent upon experience.
