Dental Compliance Lead
Location: Field-based with travel across practice locations
Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Compliance Lead to support and maintain high standards of compliance across our dental practices.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel between sites, attached to our Head Office Operations Team. You will work closely with Practice Managers and clinical teams to ensure each practice remains inspection-ready, meets regulatory requirements, and delivers safe, high-quality patient care.
As the organisation's Compliance Lead, you will play a key role in promoting a positive culture of governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement while supporting practices to achieve and maintain compliance with all relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead compliance activities across multiple dental practices.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and quality assurance visits.
- Ensure practices remain compliant with CQC regulations, GDC Standards, HTM guidance, and relevant legislation.
- Support practices in preparing for and responding to CQC inspections.
- Monitor and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Identify areas of risk and implement effective improvement plans.
- Provide guidance and coaching to Practice Managers and practice teams.
- Deliver compliance training and support where required.
- Monitor safeguarding, infection prevention and control, radiography compliance, and clinical governance processes.
- Produce compliance reports and communicate findings to senior management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practice across all sites.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and passionate about driving quality within dentistry.
You'll will have:
- Previous experience in a dental compliance, governance, or quality role.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection requirements.
- Experience carrying out audits and implementing compliance improvements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently while building strong relationships across multiple practices.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
Essential
- Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a Registered Manager or able to demonstrate significant experience in meeting CQC regulatory requirements.
- Experience working within the dental sector.
- Strong knowledge of GDC Standards, safeguarding, infection prevention and control, and healthcare compliance.
