Job Title: Key Holder – Children’s Entertainment Venue
Location: Derby City Centre
Job Type: Part-Time Position available, but must be able to work weekends and school holidays.

A brand new, purpose-built children’s entertainment park in Derby City Centre which opened October 2025

Massive soft play area
Inflatable

We are looking for a Key Holder to join our team , a friendly, confident person who can support the management team and keep things running smoothly day-to-day.
What’s the Role?
As a Key Holder, you’ll be right in the middle of the action , helping with everything from supervising attractions to supporting junior staff and assisting the management team behind the scenes.
You’ll take on extra responsibilities beyond our standard Crew Member role, including opening and closing the venue, helping with rotas, party planning, weekly documents, ordering and making sure everything’s safe, clean, and fun for our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver great service and keep the vibe fun, friendly and welcoming
- Support other team members and act as a go-to on shift
- Supervise and engage with children in different play zones
- Help run parties and group events
- Pitch in with café duties
- Make sure everything’s clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Assist with daily tasks like opening, closing, and reporting to management
- Help with scheduling and team coordination when needed
- Jump in to solve issues quickly and calmly
- Running shifts on a day to day basis
- Building a strong team within the park
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re after people who are great with kids, comfortable taking the lead, and happy to work in a fast-paced, busy environment. If you’ve worked in leisure, retail, hospitality, or anything similar – even better!
Supervisor or management experience is preferred.
You’ll need to be:
- Friendly, approachable and reliable
- Confident helping others and leading by example
- Great with kids and parents alike
- A team player who’s happy to get stuck in
- Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet
- Comfortable working weekends, school holidays, and evenings
- Great timekeeping and attendance
You MUST be available weekends and during school holidays – that’s when we’re busiest
