Job Summary
Evergreen Horticulture is looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our growing team in County Tyrone.
As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day production and preparation of high-quality horticultural products. You will work as part of a team to ensure products are processed, maintained, and prepared to meet customer requirements while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop their skills within a successful horticulture business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the production, preparation, and handling of horticultural products
- Carry out general production tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Prepare products for customer orders and dispatch
- Operate basic equipment and machinery safely where required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Identify and report any quality issues or concerns
- Support other areas of the business when required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, agricultural, or horticultural environment is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working with B&C packaging machinery would be advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Good work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to carry out physical, hands-on work
