This is a 3-month contract position with a local authority, aimed at providing effective financial and administrative support to the Transport Programme & Budget team. The role is crucial for ensuring accurate monitoring, reporting, and processing of financial activities. It supports the delivery of transport and enforcement services while maintaining compliance with financial procedures and delivering high-quality service to stakeholders and customers.

Monitor and report on financial activity related to enforcement and parking revenue accounts.

Assist in the preparation of financial elements of annual reports.

Process purchase orders, invoices, and external billing transactions.

Ensure compliance with financial procedures, regulations, and controls.

Experience in financial monitoring or working with financial systems.

Experience in administrative or office-based roles.

Experience liaising with customers or external stakeholders.

Experience within transport, parking enforcement, or public sector services.

Good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent), particularly in Maths and English.

Evidence of continuous professional development.

Working hours: 37 hours per week.
