The role:
We are looking to employ a Hygiene Operative to work in a team of 4 to ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the factory. You will report to the EHS Manager.
This is a full time role based at our headquarters in Kendal.
You will be required to work the following shift pattern:
Earlies: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 13:30
Lates: Monday to Thursday, 13:15 to 21:15. Friday, 13:15 to 18:45
What you’ll be doing:
· Amenities: Cleaning offices, change points, toilets, canteen and other duties
- Factory: General cleaning duties within an Industrial environment including cleaning of, Walkways, change points and designated areas within the factory
- Laundry: Laundry replenishment ensuring that all staff have clean work wear in their lockers. Collection of dirty workwear and putting them in laundry bags to be collected by the external laundry company.
- Canteen: Assisting in the canteen and kitchen when required and for the right candidate, helping to prepare the breakfast (not essential but would be an advantage)
- Paperwork: Ensuring that the cleaning records are competed on a daily basis and that they are signed off by your supervisor
- Hygiene and Health and Safety: Ensure that when you are working in KNC that you follow all procedures and guidelines for Hygienic and Health and Safety practices.
