Job Purpose
As a Care Worker at Winside Care, Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the service users. This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to respond to the needs of individuals, including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, or complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Assist service users with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and community outings.
- Build positive relationships with service users and offer emotional support.
- Assist with medication prompting and administration.
- Report any concerns or incidents to the manager, documenting them accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and incident reports.
- Work with other members of the care team.
- Attend regular training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to the organisation’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience and training in a care or support role (preferred but not essential).
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent).
