7.5T Drivers! Mon-Fri working Pattern! (one Sat Morning a month)
Our client, is one of the largest independent fencing, timber, and builders' merchants in the UK. Currently they are seeking a Class B Driver to join their well established team.
What will you do?:
- Driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to deliver building materials to a range of customers.
- Liaising with the Transport Manager daily, to co-ordinate delivery routes, remaining flexible with rescheduling routes if required.
- Daily use of a portable PDA device.
- Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
- Moving stock both manually and via the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment.
- Maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service at all times.
What skills are we looking for?
- Driver CPC (essential)
- Previous experience in delivery driving.
- Knowledge of London and surrounding areas is desirable.
- Building Materials knowledge desirable.
- Ability to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders.
- Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering and, where possible, exceeding customers’ expectations.
